Morphology (characterised by L. Forster): — Elytra smooth, with transverse depression towards base — Pronotum with barely perceptible, smooth, lateral flange along anterior half, and with transverse depression where flange ends basally.
Ecology
Association with dead wood or old trees: at least facultatively saproxylic
